  • If your body burns as many calories as it takes in you won't gain weight except for water weight and you may retain excess water depending on your sodium n electrolyte balance. From the fact you said your on a pension I would assume you're of advanced age so your body will not be as efficient in burning calories so if you want results increase your activity and change your eating habits no carbs after 2 no refined sugars at all protein for dinner. To be completely honest though it sounds like your just looking for an excuse to be fat and give up.

    • Can you read? These are my observations. :-P I'm on a pension and of advanced age? Can you directly quote that from above? I take you are half asleep or something? LOL!

Want results? Exercise? Cut Carbs? Duh. Totally works.

No carbs after 2? There's no evidence that is necessary.

Agree totally about "no refined sugars at all"

Protein is utterly vital! Yes. Fat, too, very good for the body's hormone functions.

      • Ellena made the comment about the pension assumed that was the poster commenting on responses. Besides that eating carbs in the evening and not burning those calories will lead to your body to store them as fat so I suggest being on the safe side unless you know that you will have an activity that would need you to have glucose available for your muscles to operate on. I look at all my meals as what I am going to get from them it's fuel n you don't put 85 octane in a Ferrari
