    There's a connection between all kinds of music. It's all the same stuff.

      I mean the people who enjoy it. Most people who like hard rock or metal tend to really like classical music as well, or so I read.

        I suppose people who like metal might like certain classical music.. heavier stuff, Wagner etc.
        Other classical stuff has more in common with other sorts of music.. Chopin's chord sequences always remind me of pop songs! Maybe the fans of metal professing a love for classical music is that they consider 'their' kind of music intellectually superior to pop music, so are attracted to classical stuff that way.
        Personally I think there are only two types of music.. good and bad, and both come in all genres.
