I thoroughly detest Justin Bieber as a person and it's unlikely that I'll ever listen to his music again. I didn't LIKE the album, that's not what I was trying to say. But, I enjoyed the rebelliousness of actually listening to something that everyone hates and making up my own mind. Because there are literally millions of people who jump on the anti-Bieber bandwagon who don't have the balls to give his music a go first before deciding that it sucks.
And don't call me a hipster either, I don't usually do hipster-ish things like this.
Well, I only had your post to go off, and it sounded like you liked the album. You should be clearer next time. Like I said, he tops the charts, so I don't see Bieber love as being uncommon in the slightest. He seems to have decent amounts of people who love him, people who detest him, and people who are completely indifferent. So I don't think there's a "hipster" reaction.

Like I said, it doesn't matter. I like (and listen to) all sorts of crap. Despite that, the music I listen to most and which I love most is made by artists who are considered good. I don't listen to something because it's good, though, I listen to it because of the way it makes me feel. So I really don't care about having "good" or "bad" taste. Stop overreacting! It's really no big deal.
