I went to a comedy festival last year and saw three of my favourite comedians. There was a woman in the next aisle to me who laughed along with everyone else but then, when the laughter was dying down, very loudly said "Meow meow" to anything she thought was particularly funny. It doesn't sound particularly bad but it was absolutely dreadful and she pretty much ruined my day.
What you do sounds a little eccentric but fine. Be aware that people are annoyed by things you wouldn't imagine, though.
