I used to be this way, but it wasn't until after college that I started finding some of the "top shelf" stuff I like. Go to a fancy martini bar and order a chocolate or watermelon martini or other fruity drink. When it comes to beer and wine you want smooth, sweet taste. For beer try a Banana-lemon-coriander Hefewiesse Beer or a lambic framboise. For wine, try a moscato di asti, or a fruity icelandic wine.
Most liquor is crap, and alcohol itself is very bitter but that is why you mix stuff to make it taste good. (and that way the girls will get drunk too.)
Is it normal that I absolutely hate the taste of alcoholic beverages?
