Is it normal that i absolutely hate scissors?

Is it normal that I simply cannot stand the sound of scissors cutting through paper (especially construction paper)? Every time I hear that sound my hairs stand on end, I curl my fists and clench my teeth. When I was elementary school that giant board with a machete on it always upset me and I had to sit as far from it as possible.

Is It Normal?

    I hate the sound or tearing paper, it makes my teeth feel strange. Odd I know, but hey. I'm fine with scissors though. It is a similar thing to mine, but different. I'm sure you are not the only person though :/

      Actually, I quite love Scissorhands. It's one of the few films to have ever made me cry.

    I think it's normal just because scissors are kind of a weapon. Plus the sound they make is kind of annoying. That machete thing always made me uncomfortable because it looked like some medieval weapon.
