If he is young there is a possibility that yes he is entirely gay. Myself, like many others, transition. We aren't sure what we are feeling or what is "wrong" with us. We date and have relationships with the opposite sex. We then test the waters and come out as bi...then find ourselves and feel free to come out as gay. Still, it doesn't mean that you can't have an interest in him. Just know that it may not work out as you hope.
