Is it normal that I’m not onboard with this whole januhairy thing?

  • A protip for girls growing up in this wave of rabid feminism: looking and acting feminine will bring you more happiness and more confidence than growing out your armpit hair ever will.

    • Protip for men who can't get women's attention without trolling online: stop blaming all your problems on "this wave of rabid feminism" the internet made up. Focusing on your immediate reality will bring you more happiness and confidence than worrying about women not looking like they do in the porn you're so used to.

I'm sure you would gladly take a hairy chick over the nothing-at-all you're currently pulling in, given the chance. Don't be so bitter.

      • Men have their own problems that I've gone into at length in the past. Since this topic is about women I'd rather remain focused on them. You somehow made the leap that "shaving your armpit hair" = "looking like a pornstar".

My guess is that you have a tragic problem that so many other women have: you have no idea what feminimity even is. It's been shamed to hell and back, to the point where we can't even have a conversation about it.

I also wonder what your definition of feminimity even is, so if you can please tell me what you imagine "looking and acting feminine" is like. It is beyond sad if the imagery that comes to mind is some porn fetish.

        • Ok, cool. I'm just saying hairless is more prevalent in porn, so I assume that's why you'd be upset to find that women do indeed have body hair in reality.
You are correct, Femininity has been shamed by guys like you who place it as lesser than and even subservient to masculinity.
I don't think naturally occurring body hair on a feminine female turns her masculine. Women's body hair is usually lighter and wispier than men's. So you could even say their body hair itself is feminine.

          • You attempted to distract here--there had been no mention of porn before you did. And there was no mention of anyone being "upset." You've tried to argue points he didn't make. A combo deflect and smear. And "guys like you" is likewise shabby and, in this case another deflection. It is you who's trying to "shame" women who don't want to look like men are expected to look. I also can't find a statement suggesting that someone here thinks that femininity is lesser to or subservient. As far as I can see here, that's YOUR idea. Or your straw man. Which is a deflection technique.

            • Nope, like I said I was referring to that user’s past comments. He is known on this website for his woman-hating, and is of course feigning innocence here to gain support from those like you who don’t know the full context of his beliefs.

Also, women with body hair don't "look like men are expected to look". Women don't even have the same kind of body hair as men do.

It's interesting that you guys are desperately trying to oppose equality or whatever, yet you think something as simple as unshaven body hair makes a women the same as a man.

          • "You are correct, Femininity has been shamed by guys like you who place it as lower quality than and subservient to masculinity."

You are attempting to read my mind, but I assure you that you are not a mind-reader. Nothing I have said has indicated what you've just attributed to me. This is a terrible habit to have when you're trying to have a debate (as opposed to a meaningless argument).

I know I'm not a mind-reader, that's why I need to ask you what you believe it means to "look and act feminine". If you don't know then that's fine, but I need to know where you're coming from.

            • Nope, I’m going off your subtext and other comments you have posted on this website. If you’re ashamed to personally admit your point that’s fine, but there are plenty of others from your school of thinking who are more forthcoming.

I believe it means exactly what it’s defined as - looking and acting like a female. You can google the biological attributes and behaviors that generally differentiate a female human from a male human if you aren’t sure.

So you think women are naturally masculine then?

              • I can certainly google with the best of them, but I'm much more interested in what you believe the "biological attributes and behaviors that generally differentiate a female human from a male human" happen to be.

Can you give me some examples? If you are unwilling or unable, I would recommend doing some serious reflection as to why.
