It doesn't even matter if your hair was fake or not, he had no right to try and humiliate you. Certainly don't talk to him, but talk to your friend at least and find out a) how she feels about the situation and b) if she is still talking to that guy. If she is, yeah I wouldn't want to hang around with such a person.
I already deleted her on fb and twitter, and when my family and I move (dad got a new job) she sure as hell won't know where. They probably had sex (they have before) after I left so I doubt she'd stick up for me.
