He's just being a jealous baby and is butthurt because he said no strings attached because he thought he was God's gift to you, and now you're the one going off having fun elsewhere whilst he pines for you.
Tell him you don't want to continue your fwb situation because he clearly has feelings for you and you don't want to hurt him. You can't have a healthy relationship with him now anyway so you may as well be honest with him before you move on to someone who is emotionally capable of having a real relationship with you.
