Is it normal that happy pretty girls annoy me?

This normally happens when I'm at the beach, so I will use that for my example.. I'll be at the beach, on my towel when a group of happy, joyful, pretty girls walk by. Maybe with a few boys. I get angry, and instantly jealous. I feel like walking up to them, and punching them, so their happy pretty faces, are ugly and upsetting. I then wish I was part of that group. Pretty, Laughing, and joyful. They pass by, and I'm still thinking about them. This also happens when I see a
couple together. When I see a cute couple together, kissing, laughing, and holding hands I get extremely angry, jealous, and upset. Is this normal?

  • I suppose jealousy is normal but if you tried that with me I'd break your face. ;-)

  • It really sounds like jealousy, hate, and discontent has consumed your being. I think it is time to step back, and take a look at yourself. I am beginning to wonder if you will recognize the person staring back in the mirror. Time for some self reflection and inner change, because being bitter is not going to change who you are or your own level of self happiness.

  • Jealousy is normal to an extent - if you find it's taking over your life and you're jealous over absolutely everything, then it's not normal. It sounds like you have low self esteem/self worth and aren't happy with your life therefore you're envious of those who are happy with their lives.

  • Jealous much? Jealously is a sign of weakness. Just think about that.

  • It`s pointless hating others for being more attractive than you. It`s not their fault, it`s down to your parents.

  • jealousy is one of the hardest things to get over, but you shouldn't always compare yourself to others. everyone has their own path and they have many problems of their own.

  • Jealousy is normal, for sure. All teenaged girls are this way. The best thing you can do is find what you love about yourself, and be confident. You're jealous of girls who have confidence, guys love confidence. It's sexier than anything.

    • Maybe she did.
She isn't here to b*tch about these girls, ever think of that?
She's asking you whether this is normal. So, why don't you say something that relates to the topic instead of labeling, and judging her like a child.
