This is normal it happens a lot to older people. They get mad or upset for no reason. Just don't talk to your grandmother for a few days and she will apologize to you sooner or later.
Bad advice, that will just confirm her feelings that she isn't loved.
If you want her to feel loved ask her what you can do for her and then do it: cut the grass, take her shopping, take her out for a meal ... use your imagination!

Worth a try anyway. I'm also a grandma and if I were feeling unloved by my family that'd change my feelings. Also, don't pretend to be interested, but I'll bet if you asked her for stories about her childhood and growing up years she'd just love to tell you about that.
