  • I"ll tell u why I said its not normal. Almost everyone hates school but the feelings they are having associated with it is extreme. What grade are u in, important and r u supposed to be on this site. Im assuming HS.

To hate school person. Really no speech intended but I have 3 sons, 30-28-18. 2 older finished school one wnt to college(not 4 everyone) my baby dropped out, he cant find a decent job, regrets his decision and is bummed about it. Other 2 are doing great. So stick it out OK, trust me I see what my kid is going thru.

    • Here is my veiw on it. You may be correct in some ways, but obviously you dont think how we do (myself and the person who asked this question.)
I was in my final year of high school last year and i dropped out half way through becuase,
      1. i hated school ever sinse i reached high school
      2. im not a morning person at all
      3. i was failing most subjects and had no hope of passing that year (im not accademic at all)
      4. i was going through depression
      5. stress from family and relationship break up

I am so happy i dropped out of school, still thinking about that place physicaly makes me sick. If i had sticked it out as you are suggesting, then i would have failed and be left no-where at the end of the year.
Instead, i got help with depression, fixed myself up, and finished a tafe course (tafe = like college) before the end of the year.

Having said all of that, this is my veiw of being in this position during high school. I dont think what you are saying is wrong, but there are positives from dropping out of school.
Also, you can never tell if dropping out or sticking it out is/was the right decision for you until you have made it.
