Agreed with the above. You may have an insecure vibe which is not attractive to females. Are you uncomfortable or shy around females? Are you a virgin? You may need to figure out how to become more comfortable and confident in yourself and take on more of a 'man' role than a a progressive teenager one. Show maturity, be confident and calm.

Well I'm pretty shy myself and I don't mind shy guys. Just try opening up a little bit more to that certain girl, she'll come along. If not, go for it. And I'm sure your good looking, you just have to be confident in yourself.

People don't find shyness scary...well, not everyone. Only obnoxiously loud and stupid people do because they don't know what it's like to be quiet. I wouldn't fret though. I bet there will be some who will happily talk to you and such. Just you wait.
