When I first got on FB, I was very depressed. I am in my 30s and still single w/ no children. Just about everybody I went to high school with was married with children, & I was extremely jealous. I came very close to deleting my account. FB has its advantages & disadvantages; it is not for everyone. Fortunately I got passed my jealousy...I realized that things are not always as they seem. You are right...people are going to put up their best photos & brag about the great things in their lives. Not many complain about how terrible their lives are on FB. It's all about appearance! If you continue to feel the way you do, deactivate your account.
