Is it normal that everyone treats my sister better?

Ok so all the time my big shot sister who is supposed to become an eye doctor since she is in optometry school is treated better than me by my family. For instance we have a baby brother that needs to be taken care of but the entire time something needed to be done my aunt would tell me to do it and not my sis who wasn’t doing anything. She would call my name for everything, to get him clothes change his diaper give her a towel feed and make him milk. Yet my sis just got to sit there on her phone, I would understand if she had school work but she doesn’t. My whole family treats her like a queen and me the peasant. My sis was gonna put my bro to bed this morning but my aunt said I should so she could eat breakfast even though she never eats breakfast.

Why isn't your mother doing all this work?

Ugh. Gosh, I'm sorry. I guess I'm lucky, because I've never had to caretake anyone.

Is sister better looking ? Bigger/nicer breasts ? An ass that's a bit more "trim or fit" by their opinion. I had an older brother that was ALWAYS treated better by our manipulative, game player of a mother. He died in 1999. He was an asshole from the word go. Then brother younger than me was ALWAYS Dad's favorite because he made millions of dollars deals with many aircraft builders. Our dad DAMN near kissed the ground the brother walked on.

    Let me guess: you're Indian?

It sounds like your family views your sister as a little god in the making, and there's a fair amount of understandable jealousy on your part. Seems to me you have a few options:

    1) Suck it up.

    2) Leave home and avoid spending time with your family.

    3) Figure out some profession that has even higher status in the eyes of your family and focus all your efforts on out-doing your sister. I don't know how it is where you live, but in Britain an optometrist is not actually an "eye doctor". They go to university for only three years, and leave with a BSc degree, not an MD. Maybe you could aim to become a real doctor and upstage the bitch.
