Try something simple that might help: look around a route you take daily, and try to notice something new or something that has changed on that route each day. It helps with focus and memory in general. It might help you to do this with people and names.

Yeah that would help me with navigating in general I've forgotten how to get home sometimes if I don't constantly take a route for a while, even if I'm a few blocks away.
