Now to my white brother from another mother (the OP), just relax man, if you know you're not racist don't walk on eggshells around people, because they know you're not racist too.
I'm a light-skinned East Indian guy, but pretty white-washed since I've lived in Canada nearly my whole life. Real racists exist but they're pretty rare. They're awful people and fortunately I had very little interaction with them.
In fact I had experienced far more racism and bigotry from black people, but that's an aside. And perhaps not so much as racism but thuggery and bullying.
Most of my friends (and girlfriends) were white, primarily based on the schools I went to. I went on trips and got to know Canadians from every province and found them to be amazing, wonderful people.
I think it's the liberal media that keeps pushing the boogie-man image of white racists hiding in every corner. Really if that was the case, non-whites wouldn't have a chance here-some places in Russia and Australia are like that.
Not to pick on the blacks for no reason, but the fact is that black on white crime is 7 times higher than the other way around, yet liberals never talk about it, because they don't want to be seen as racist. They'd rather let black thugs rape, rob and kill whites, than to expose this evil and try to fix it. Now that's real racism, not just by the thugs, but the white liberal back-stabbers.
