        • Because you are saying that my description of an emo is wrong, so you must know what the description of an emo is. If you say they're just like everyone else, then you are saying that the only thing that makes an emo an emo is their clothing.

          You said my description is wrong, so tell me the right description of emos in your opinion.

          • I never said that your description was wrong, and if my words made it seem like I was saying that, then I apologize. I was talking about the traits that you judge when coming across an emo, which you said was their personality and their clothes.

            And nothing really makes an emo an emo. It's a style, that's it. Someone may wear dark clothes, and have black hair, and be into dark, metal music, but they may not classify themselves as an emo. For some reason, in todays day and age, everything is about being labeled. Styles and social labels shouldn't define us, we should define ourselves.
