I totally agree that there is such a great emphasis on kids' self-esteem that their expectations are not realistic anymore.
One girl out of beauty school made such a mess of painting nails at my friend's nail salon, she burst into tears when she failed the test. According to her, she was the best student in her class. According to my friend, she was the worst applicant she'd ever had!!
I feel sorry for them ~ although some do manage to bullshit their way into some great jobs.
Is it normal that children think they're special
