    What do you look like, what is your voice like, how do you smell and how do you move? No offence, but kids do judge on face value. If you are a corpulent, burly-looking man with a gruff voice, a heavy or jerky gait and a strong or unpleasant scent, that reaction from a child is unfortunately to be expected.

    I know that being female and medium-sized, slightly chubby, with big, olive-shaped eyes, fluffy-looking hair, a warm smile and a musical voice gives me an advantage when it comes to putting little kids at ease. You can bet that in other situations it's a disadvantage, though.

      I'm a little bit chubby and my doctor tells me I have bad posture so I'm a little hunched over sometimes when I walk. Is that bad? How do I look less creepy? I don't want them to be scared of me
      Edit: I forgot to mention that my shower has been broken for a few weeks now so I've been unable to wash myself but I use deodorant spray so I don't smell bad. Is it too strong? Do you think they can tell?
