See through the nonsense, that is. New users fit into a few categories too. Lurkers, trolls, brats, those who only talk about sex, wannabes, easy going, curious, kind, etc. I generally don't assume too much. Give the benefit of the doubt and try to be friendly. However some try too hard to control the room and do not let the room be what it is.
It's a shame, some of the regulars are really nice people.
