Is it normal that certain commercials enrage me to my core?

There's been a few ads I've seen in the last decade of watching TV that make me irrationally mad. I'll be watching a car insurance commerical for the 100th time and actually think about what it might be like to choke a lizard to death with my bare hands. Murderous impulses, increased heart rate, ect... I hate being advertised to in general but is it normal to be this mad about it?

    What makes me mad is how drug companies advertising to consumers isnt a thing outside the us really. It enrages me that we are programmed to ask our doctors about drugs instead of letting the experts do their job and tell us about them

    There are streaming services that don't have commercials. Perhaps you can subscribe to one of those?

    The choke lizards would be a sweet name for a band though. The commercial with The General, that sells car insurance. Yeah, that gets old.

      I used to travel a lot and have seen these two commercials. If they're still playing that would be a good commercial. The General at a Choking Lizards concert selling his insurance. Lol

    some of the car insurance commercials are the worse, and that one with Joe Namath for medicare has to go.

    I was born in 84 so some people may not remember these commercials but the two Russian bears playing Tetris outside in the night time really aggravated me and so did the doctor Mario for Nintendo with the little guy with the curly hair in the red glasses. also the all fruit commercial where everyone says please pass the all fruit and then finally the redneck guy hollers out could you please pass the jelly

    There are some commercials I get extremely sick of and think are insufferably stupid, but not to the point of fantasizing about murder, lol. However, just as I was typing this, a commercial came on in which someone went "shhh", and words cannot describe how much I HATE that noise. Makes my skin crawl!
