My boyfriend very often can't keep an erection. He needs LOTS of foreplay, and sometimes even doing foreplay he can't keep it hard. He has no problem when it comes to masturbation. However, he told me that quite often he does it over his underwear... like not directly touching it. Maybe some sensitivity issue?
We have sex, but not every time we want to, just when his penis decides he wants to work. This situation really affects him and I want to help him.
Doctor said it was psychological, but can't afford a therapist.
Please help.

    If a man is nervous it can have a devastating effect on erections . Don't make a big deal of it with him. Allow him to feel 100% comfortable with you.

    I think it's normal, to an extent. It's not unusual for some guys to get hard very fast and then a little while later get soft just as fast, and it can come and go, and seem pretty random. It could mean that he has low testosterone, or that he isn't aroused enough, or it can happen for some other reasons too. Generally it can happen if guys are nervous or insecure about performing well during sex too.

    It sounds like her is nervous or nervous enxiety. That kills an erection like nothing. check on thing that effected me. I was taking allergy meds in college, and I had similar thing happen. See if it is any meds hes taking or new diet if not his nerves.
