Is it normal that blood turns me on?

Is it normal that since I was a child I liked to lick my own blood when I'd bleed from hurting myself on accident I'd hide myself in the bathroom and I peel the scabs no matter how big or small just to watch it flow and to rub it on my skin..I also liked the way it felt to peel off the scab and feel the blood come out.. it's like a habit I do it without thinking about when I'm alone..then I'm like wait what's wrong with me? why do I enjoy this? I like to rub it on my body and lick it and put it on my face.. I learned it was sexual for me when I got older.. don't worry I was always smart enough to clean the wound when it stopped bleeding on it's own.. When I was a kid I didn't think it was wrong. Ps. I did it before I was allowed to watch any vampire movies or scary movies because I already had nightmares for no reason pretty often. Don't worry tho I don't get scared of my dreams very often anymore. Pps I don't hurt myself on purpose or anyone else I would feel pretty bad if I cut someone else I'm also afraid to get that personal with someone else's blood. If you know the psychological reason why people are like this let me know please.

it's actually normal! just not very common. many events in childhood cause kinks and fetishes later in life, so what you've gone and done is give yourself a bloodplay/vampirism fetish. i have one too, don't worry about it. people are into different things, and as long as you have a consensual partner, if you ever wanna take it that far, who cares what other people think?

Hey, I'm exactly the same. If I have a cut etc, I like to lick it, or smir it around my lips and face. ('play' with the blood if you will.)

I can understand why people would think one would be crazy to do so, but it's honestly normal compared to a lot of people's fetishes and fears. I believe that it sometimes has nothing to do with your past, or things you've witnessed. It can just be something you discovered and got addicted to, like smoking. Because that's what's happened with me. I haven't been obsessed with vampires, or horrors etc, I just discovered it and like the taste of my own blood, therefore I still today like having blood on me. I think there is also the element of strength, a feeling of being a survivor and dealing with injuries. Even with blood on your body, you keep living and don't let it freak you out. Growing up, if I cut myself I was always a wimp. Now, I lick it clean and carry on no matter how big or deep it is.

It’s not really normal, but so long as you aren’t actively harming anyone else in order to see their blood flowing, then it could be ok. Just be careful; you don’t want to cause lasting harm to yourself because of this desire. I also really hope you aren’t cutting yourself because you want to see your own blood flowing from your skin, that would be a serious issue there.

But hey, you could always use fake blood, or water with red food coloring as an alternative! ;)

Also it wouldn't be the same for me to know it was fake blood.. idk why I just get more of a rush from the real thing..

I don't cut myself or cause any harm to anyone.. I don't want people to find out about this by looking at me I'm also way too nice to hurt anyone like that

Ahh I see. It would work if it is the visual aspect of blood flowing that you’re hooked on, but if it’s the particular taste? I’m not sure 🤔
Real blood does have an irony taste to it, so maybe you could add something ferrous (but small enough to be consumable, like iron filings or some non toxic ferrofluid that’s soluble) to the fake blood in order to make it taste like the real thing (?) could work if it’s small shavings, since iron is obviously non-toxic...

I’m not sure where I’m going with this, but it’s just an idea XD
