Well then why aren't you building relationships with people on the basis of more than good looks? That seems rather obvious.
Do you know people with whom you share some interests or skills (music, sports, theatre, dance, literature, politics, community, games etc., etc.)? There are lot's of other things beside good looks upon which to base and build friendships!
