Is it normal that backwards songs scare me?

Like I'm not one of those extreme Christians who are like "oh its satanic" because there are several hilarious backwards messages in songs when you reverse them, like "Satan eats cheez whiz". It's usually a hilarious or satirical message, but if I listen to a song backwards or reversed, even the ones without messages, the way the voices and tune sounds so warped and distorted just makes me really fucking uncomfortable.
