yes its totally normal. i have a cousin who also get very nervous around the guy she like. and she is 22!
so age doesn't matter,, when you in love, you tend to do something stupid, lol.
my advice, try to give him a clue that you like him, and put those nervousness aside. if you try often enough, i guess you'll get rid of that nervous feeling.
