Pharmaceuticals are not formulated with your best interest in mind. The same entity is responsible for HFCS, GMOs, etc. I use herbs and holistic remedies for any health issues. Did you know that pharmaceuticals, while costing an arm and a leg, many times are made on purpose to ruin another part of your health to ensure their job security (and your misery)?
