The problem is that you're making them out to be more than they are. I had the same problem in High School, it's a challenge that gives the same thrill as hunting. You will track someone until you get them. I know for guys like us it can be difficult to slow down, but if you just settle down and date a girl or get to know them really well and still are attracted to them then you've found one that you will still have feelings for after sex.
