Is it normal that after lazer hair removal i have a lot of acne?

I started lazer hair removal on my face like 7 months ago but ive been getting a lot of acne and bcz of my acne i have a lot of marks now bcz i always pop them i know im not supposed to but i cant handle the disgusting white stuff , thesepast 2 months i didnt go cz everyone is telling me its bcz of lazer & i should stop but now that i stopped theres a lot of hair growing so wat the hell do i do and IS IT NORMAL????
