Is it normal that a person seems less attractive after knowing them

I seem to have this problem alot. I noticed that if i see a girl for example ill think "yea shes beutifull" after i make her my girlfriend and its been a while that were together she seems less attractive then she did at first. Is this normal? Does this happen to anyone else

    I know exactly what the original poster is talking about. I cant find myself being attracted to a woman after a certain amount of time, thats not to say I am TOTALLY not attracted to them, I just find pursuing relationships as something that is expected for people to do when you hit a certain age.

    Its not something I would want, it actually confuses me when people talk about it as something they want.

    This happens because you become used to seeing her and being with her. Don't know if it happens to everyone, but it has happened to me before.

    When a person sees another person, they tend to let their imagination run wild with the type of personality they could have. Maybe you just saw her as a pretty face and nothing more.
