Is it normal that a lot of people on this site are paranoid?

I read through the fear categorie a lot. I can't help but noticing that a common fear many people have on this site is paranoia. Is that just because it's normal to think people are watching you all the time? Or are people who use this site different than the general population?

    fear is a survival technique. but that was made by instincts for real things like sounds and sights when we were hunter/gatherers. now its thoughts we are afraid of. all of the prophets including jesus have regarded in discarding this fear because its mostly counter productive for ur conciousness and highly unusable except in war these days
