I have a friend I live with like this, she tells me everything that winds her up, everything hardship related, and occasionally like to put not only me but our other house mates down when we are having a good time even if that's just sitting at home with a bottle of wine and we didn't invite her to join because she said she was going out somewhere. Man I'm wound up now, need to go chill.
But yeah anyway back to the point, if I have had a hard time either at uni, money or parents home she doesn't want to know and occasionally stabs me in the back (metaphorically) when I find out i have a deadline due and cancel a night out to pass my degree
