Let the girl enjoy her childhood and grow up first. She's going to change, she will develop crushes on boys her age, and she may even get a boyfriend, or girlfriend (you never know). Her self-esteem will fluxuiate, she will make mistakes, and more. You can't expect a child, still in middle school, just hitting puperty to make such a promise to a grown man that she'll marry him when she's 17 or 18. Be realistic.
