        When: The 4th Thursday in November.

        How: People eating a ton of food and being "Thankful", spending time with loved ones.

        Why: (school version) It marks a feast that was held by the Pilgrims (English settlers) and the Indians (Native Americans) back in 1621 where they became friends.

        The truth is very complicated.

            Yep, strictly American as far as I know. Well, Canada has their own version of it but I don't know jack about it except it is in like early to mid October.
