The mutual crushes that haven't developed into a relationship have brought me the best of friends. Sometimes the person is so special and has so many things you love about them that you get that feeling of wanting to be close all the time... and even if they are attractive something is missing as far as romance goes... In that case keeping it platonic makes for a great friendship.
