There are often a lot of posts about narcissistic behaviour on this site. I have had friends like this in the past. One was nicknamed - "Me, Myself and I" coz that's all she talked about. My sister and mother are both exactly the same.
Over the years I've learned that my life is too short for these people to bore me to death - so I've let them go. You will never change them and you are right they have zero interest in another person's life :o( Find a new friend.
