    She thought u had a crush on her, which it sounds like you do. She is probably bisexual and didn't want to be tempted to cheat on her bf by you.

      yeah I kinda only figured out I did when I would get butterflies every now and again when I saw her at work and how I was so disappointed when she wasn't there..
      I thought the butterflies were because of my job, it was a highly stressful job where I got a huge amount of anxiety

              All I did was give her a few smiles that could easily be interpreted as friendly smiles so I don't see how she would know tbh
