Heh very normal. Having the checkout guy/girl look at you and just KNOW what you're going to be doing in a little while. In a society where were supposed to be modest it can be a bit intimidating to flaunt your sexuality around a convenience store. If anything I think it's actually a good trait that shows your modesty. Just make sure you don't let it get to the point that it deters you from actually buying them as momentary nerves are much easier to deal with than the ramifications of unprotected sex.
