Sounds like you've got a short frenulum, might be worth going to a doctor asking about a frenuloplasty. I had to have one when mine ripped (wasn't short but let's just say she wasn't ready lol) didn't heal right so had an op where they finished the job so now I'm playing on a stringless banjo and tbh it's so much better and it can never rip again. I'll warn you though it's gonna be a month of discomfort but worth it in the end, of course a doctor may suggest using lubricant before having an op but let's be honest that's not a long term solution.
