  • It depends on the subject matter and where you are career wise. Do you have a body of published work behind you or will this be your foray piece? Is the subject matter highly contentious?

    • I've had poetry published when I was younger but just in my local newspaper and won a few writing competitions. Its not that big of a deal really lol The subject matter is REALLY controversial. It would definitely create some conversation that's for sure.

      • If you believe the article will provoke conversation what's the problem? Allowing the perception of others to influence your creative process is compromising the integrity of your product. Just write it!
