People who hate animals shouldn't have animals, or be allowed to own them. That is setting the animal up for a neglectful/abusive situation. There is a man that lives 4 or 5 minutes away from me and he ties his dogs out all day and all night with barely any food and water. He is also an alcoholic and has shot two of his dogs dead because he was drunk (those two dogs were the sweetest dogs, not an aggressive bone in their body even though this man abused them)
He should not legally be allowed to have animals, yet he keeps getting different dogs when the other ones die or he kills them. After I saw him hit his dog with a rake I slashed his back tires and put sand, fruit punch, and Elmer's glue in his gas tank. He doesn't even know who I am. But I watch him.
Already have. There is nothing they can do, it's considered ethical to shoot a dog to death in my province apparently. And I only witnessed the abuse and didn't have a chance to film it, so it's my word against his. They've been to his house once and seized one of his dogs but the others still there.
My sister actually works as an Animal Protection Officer and I've told her about him several times, but legally, her hands are tied.

Yeah, see I'm dating a dog, so that kinda hits close to home, I'll be absolutely sincere, whilst avoiding premeditation accusations;
If somebody like me were you, there COULD be a short bit of violence, Then a missing person(s) investigation, which MIGHT not achieve anything.
But I'm fairly certain the dog would be fine, albeit not there anymore.
Just as well I'm not you, then.
Call aspca they will reposess the animals or call the cops something

We definitely need stricter laws for animal abusers. It's so infuriating only being able to do so much within the law.
