I actually think it's responsible for everyone, regardless of class, to start thinking about having less children. Our planet is choking, we don't have enough resources, or land to use, to sustain this number of people for very long.
But in response to this specific post, I don't think it's classist, it's sensible. Children are an economic burden and you have to take that into consideration before you have them. If you can't afford to treat them well, or you simply don't want that economic burden and would rather spend money on yourself (which is how I feel, personally), children aren't for you.
