I'm with you on too selfish to give it up, but I feel no guilt intrinsically tied in with eating meat. The natural world we evolved in is not a gentle or forgiving place, and, as omnivores, we eat other animals. It's natural, and veal is delicious.
Having said that, I'd much, much rather the animals I eat to have been humanely treated than to be raised in the horrible factory farm conditions major meat companies require to meet demand. That won't stop me from obtaining my animal protein and vital amino acids from the remains of other thinking creatures.
I feel like; There´s no escuse to eat AS MUCH meat that most of us are eating. If everyone could eat meat for four days a week , vegetarian the rest there would be a little bit less cruelty in the world.
The only meat industry I can fully support are if you buy your meat from hunters, they literally just go out there, kills something and takes it with them home.
Like nature inteded for it to be.
(And maybe smaller farms, don´t know how common they are outside of Sweden)
Not ...meat companies that treats their animals like shit.
IIN people dump on the vegans who aren't even trying to convert them?
