Is it normal painting of a dog in a shirt and tie??

i am an art student and i did a painting on a canvas of my dogs head. and then i am putting a shirt and tie on him. and then with a wall paper design on the background.. is this cool or just weird and not cool? xx

    It's your idea, why do you care if people think it's weird or cool if it's something you want to create?

    I would say it's not the most original idea you could think of. Anthropomorphism is fairly typical in art, especially surreal art.
