It’s an unpopular opinion but I agree with you. The only argument I sort of get is that they decimate the local rodent and bird population. But even that’s only bad if you live somewhere with threatened / endangered species. I feel like people who say it’s dangerous to let out cats, either don’t have enough money to properly take care of it to begin with, or live in some tiny apartment / in the city where they shouldn’t have a cat but “waahhh wahh it’s cute, therefore I must have it regardless”
