So i don't have credit. and i use my house phone instead. I don't want her having my house number (parents, siblings and stuff might answer-- or she may become a crazed jealous women) so i ring off a private number.
When she picks up the phone. shes always cool about it.
but she hardly ever does.
Do you think its a creepy?
I don't answer my phone unless i know the number. If she knows it's you and answers than i think it's fine. I'd explain the reason though, just to clarify it.
why do people never answer private numbers? i always answer the phone.. infact i like a surprise
I used to but then i had some bad experiences:
once it was my aunt (kinda annoying one)
All the other times it was some person trying to sell me something (which i hate since i find it hard to be rude and just hang up so i end up spending ages trying to tell them no xD)
I just figured: If they aren't on my contact list then i probably don't know them. If i do then them getting my number shouldn't be a problem.
I think it's unfair for you to demand your privacy and expect her to risk hers.
Find a way to make it fair. Make up a system so she knows it's you calling.
I tend to miss a lot of calls my phone is on silent like 90% of the time.
I hate it when i find a missed call and its a private number.
I suppose it depends on how heavy you're breathing and how long you keep the silence up before saying something would give an indication of how creepy you really are.
Not really a resolution but if you have a gmail account you can install this phone addon to your PC where you can make phone calls but it's a generic outgoing number so she couldn't call you back.
If you don't have credit why don't you try that magic jack as an alternative so you'd have your own phone number ?
It's not creepy if she knows it's you.
Try skype instead. I once dated a guy who had a similar arrangement as you and I found it really lame and juvenile. I was 14 and so was he XD
