I don't see the issue with celebrating valentines. It's not like you're brainwashed or following some evil agenda... you're just having fun, how would that make you an idiot?
Because most places like hotels, restaurants etc have a premium added for no other reason than because they can and if you’re stupid enough to pay it just because the date is Feb 14 then there is no other way to describe you than brainwashed or idiot. Go on the 13th or the 15th and save $$$. Makes way more sense. Valentine’s Day is just a made up commercial money maker for suckers.
Well if you’re really in live you don’t do what you’re supposed to do snd go to some soulless fancy restaurant and get some bullshit meaningless present. You take the day to really go all out and show how much you love your partner in a way that is personally meaningful and significant which doesn’t involve money.
