Is it normal not wanting to share food with my friends?

When my friends come over to me, then im like: I hope they didn't see the can on pringles, or: i hope that they are not thristy so i gotta share the soda.

Is it normal?

Are you strapped financially? If so, ask your friends to each bring something when they come over. But that doesn't let you off the hook...you need to provide something too, even if they are coming to your home. If, on the other hand, money is no issue, then you're just being stingy. Rather than hope they don't see your Pringles and/or soda, do something outside of your comfort zone...be normal and *offer* them some of what you've got.

I don't like to share some items. I fucking hate people who ask for some of your Smarties, or Skittles, personal size pizza or if you have a small bag of chips. Those types of items.

Those are no ask items, even if the other person has no snacks of their own. FUCK RIGHT OFF! And I am strong willed enough (or an asshole enough) to say no.

If I have a large bag of chips, cans of pop or a 2 litre I have no trouble sharing.

Basically my philosophy is don't ask me to have less than what a personal sized serving for a snack is. Don't deprive me of my fucking snack because you don't have one. Go hop in your car and buy your own shit.

I can see that..Whenever my 2-3 guy friends visit for a weekend, I'll hide my favorite stuff and buy what they want (or will eat) from the store, just to save what I really like. Sucks to need to do that, but that's how it is.

Are they really greedy and eat most of your food in the fridge? That is my reason for not sharing my food anymore.
